SAMRAT SHANKAR a world renowned
magician is a recepient of many national and internationl awards
and honours.
In 1981 at All India Magic competition, he won AWARD OF BEST MAGICIAN
OF THE EAST, which is a self-evidence
of his magic skills. He repeated the feat again in 1982 by winning
first award at All Indian Magic Competition held at New Delhi.
In March 1983 he was awarded with Prashasti Tamra Patra on the Rajasthan
Day. Shankar was honored with gold medal by the Chief Minister of
Rajasthan in May 1984.In the year 1985, he was honored with "Jadu
Ratan" by all India magic convention. In year 1989, the Haryana
state honour was conferred upon him by the honorable Governor of
Haryana. |

In the year 1984, he
was honored with Jadu Bhaskar award by Akhil Bhartiya Jadu Kala
Sanskriti Sammelan. In 1986, he was honored by Governor of Haryana
in the Raj Bhavan saying, "I am immensely impressed with magic skills
of Samrat Shankar."
in December 1997, he was awarded "Jadu Shiromony" award by Delhi
Chief minister. Again in 1998 Governor of Himachal Pradesh honored
him in the Raj Bhavan expressing "Samrat Shankar enthrilled
me with his amazing hypnotic power". |
In the year 1999, CM of Punjab honored him in his own village in
the presence
of big audience and also awarded with the excellence award by the
home minister
of Rajasthan on the occasion of magic international 2000.
In addition to this he has been awarded on a number of occasions
at the national level. |
